Backup sensor switch problem...
Have backup sensors on my SD in my signature. When I put the truck in reverse, the audible alarm doesnt activate and the off light illuminates on the button to disable the audible alarm. When I mash the button while it is in reverse, the light goes off, but the audible alarm still does not activate. Seems to be an obvious problem with the button/switch. Has anyone had this problem before? If so, what was the cause and remedy; aside from replacing the button/switch?

Had the same problem on my wife's Ex. It turned out to be one of the sensors in the rear bumper. Funny thing is that when I hooked up the scan tool it did not show a problem in the system. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the sensor...no problem there after. It wasn't cheap; about $120 for the sensor + an hour labor.

WOW...what a pain in the ****. I bought an extended warranty through my bank when I bought it that is suppose to cover "everything". I will put it to the test this week. Thanks for the info though.
