master/booster interchangability

master/booster interchangability
My 79 f-350 has a leaky master cylinder, and a not so great booster. while the two are brand new on my 77 f-150... any chance of them interchanging? Im thinking the booster is a no but i was hoping the master would... any advice would be great... id hate to drive 100 miles, and pull em out just to see niether will work.

UT, I was looking in ranger429's gallery and saw the post of how the insurance company totalled big red, and you and your dad decided to restore it. great story. it's amazing how red was totalled and still looks how it does today.
