Need some suggestions please

Hi all, well been tinkering with the truck off and on for a while but have made a big effort to really spend alot of time on it. I replaced the burnt pigtail to the VC, replace the VC gasket and the harness inside the VC. tried to start it but there was nothing cuz the bat was run down pretty good. Finally got a charger and tried again, still nothing. I have also replaced the CPS and it does show some RPM when turning over the engine. I have checked the #22 fuse and that looks good also. I really need some ideas because don't know which way to go now. I dont have any way to check the codes so I'm kinda stuck. Help!

Thanks

Need a bit more information ...

1. Any white smoke when cranking ?
2. Does wait to start light work ?
3. Oil level OK ?
4. Does engine turn over fast when cranking and not "chug .. chug ?
5. What circumstance caused you to get to this point ?

Write a book if necessary ...

Answers to your questions: no, yes, yes (but added about an inch to the HPOP), yes fast not chug other then low bat earlier.

Actually working on it right now. I'm in the process of changing the fuel pump, which has been leaking for sometime. figured i'd go ahead and change it since i got a new one and hope if thats not it, maybe i would find the problem as i'm doing it. also going to do the IPR O-rings while i'm in there. I'll give a better update later this evening.

It should be just snug. it won't take much torque. So did this no start come about just after doing the UVC harness?

Made a little progress today with the install of the fuel pump and also did the IPR O-rings. Didn't get much more because I need to get new hoses and washers for the fuel pump. That valley was pretty bad looking, unfortunately had no hidden treasures down there. I'll be picking up the other stuff this week, and hopefully button her up with hopes of it running.

On a side note... this will be my 100th post, WOO HOO!! I hope my next 100 will be more on the lines of giving help and tips instead of asking for it so much!

Thanks
