4X4 indicator light

4X4 indicator light
I have a 93 F150 4X4. The auto hubs where switched with manual lockouts prior to me buying the truck. When you do this do you lose the indicator lights on the dash board? Is it a fuse or disconected wire. any help would be great. Thanks

I would look for a disconected wire. If you have a manual selector there is a swith on the linkage on the transfer case. I think on the push button type is tied in with the motor on the case. Hope this helps

No, the 4x4 & Low Range lights don't prove out when you start the engine. They only light up when the key is in RUN (maybe also back to ACC) and the t-case is shifted to those positions.
