I've asked about everybody I knew and nobody know since you guys seem to know everything about these truck I'll ask you. when rolling down/up windows mostly drivers side. the it seems as if it calls some sort of extra draw and shut s off the radio I was thinking something in the switch for the windows right.. only problem with that is it does it when I use the tank selector switch also. especially when switching to the front tank and it doesn't do it all the time kinda when it feels like it and it just started doing this a couple of months ago any suggestions thanks
yea that could be it but its never did this before I just put the factory radio in from my old ford escort before I sent it to the junkyard they're both 95's and the radio looks the same the only reason i replaced it in the first place cause the old one kept eating tapes.. and they just hook right up.. I'll have to take a look in the morning
You have a fatal issue and can only be fixed here. You will just have to donate your truck to me and I will see what I can do for you. More than likely it will just have to stay here. I have a good OBS retirement home and I will take good care of it.
I would be looking at the output of the alternator ,Check the wiring to it (sometimes it gets leaned on ,make sure its good & tight ...,Maybe check & clean the battery connection's ,,all of them ,grounds too,..Lastly have the batteries load tested ...
Sounds like something is creating a bad loop while drawing power, which the draw becomes to high and shuts the easiest thing to shut off, which is the radio.
Some of the lights probably shut off as well.

yea I'll do that sometime this week when I get time I went to jump somebody off today I noticed that the passenger side battery was corroded to hell while the drivers still looked new can't explain that since i just did this a couple of months ago.. and I'll check all the wires
Did the radio work fine before? It sounds like it is in the radio.
Maybe the Escort radio is not heavy duty enough to take the big PSD power. LOL
lol yea it did. I was just trying to get this sorted out asap cause I wanted to put in new cd player and fix my blown speakers but need to get this probelm solved.. and it seems to not effect anything but the radio no dimming of the lights or anything
