What kind of selectable locker is the cheapest? I think they make some that use a cable to activate, how much do they cost? I want to put it in my Dana 44, it is a TTB, but i don't think that makes any differance.
Thanks in advance,
-Lars-
The OX locker will not work on a TTB becouse you have to replace the differncial cover with theirs and since the TTB has no differential cover you are out of lock, try an ARB or Electrac for a Dana 44 TTB
it does matter that your axle is a ttb. The inner stub axle on the pasanger side is retained by a c clip. standard lockers have no provision for this clip. I do belive that arb air lockers are made for it though. I don't know that the new electrac is made yet for the ifs one or that it will be. I'd call and check with them.
I read somewhere that you can put a chevy valve spring in the slip joint and you don't have to use the c clip, that way you can use any dana 44 carrier. Has anyone tried this or heard of someone doing this ?
