Hey fomoco--how many do you have now? I know you have some 56s. I really enjoy these trucks, but the yblock engines are giving me fits. I am thinking of getting a 223 and see if it makes me happy--haha!!
I think ksmith must have had a long nap--but is awake now--haha
Ksmith and I will travel to get the right deal--that is for sure!!!

Seems there are just too many ''right deals'' around and they`re not making any more of `em.

thanks for checking on that stuff!!
Yes I do need that one that's on the very back.
I don't know why someone might have removed it.
Would pictures help? I could take some pics of the back of the truck.
I have the bed off and am removing the cab. My next trick will be getting the frame and cab/sheet metal parts sand blasted so I can start putting everything back together......
I am anxious to drive that thing with the automatic trans and 2 speed axle!!
Thanks,
Rick

Ok,
I haven't taken any pics yet. But I'll get to that today.
I would expect the thing to be the same but in 56 they did increase the GVW so I wonder if they changed the frame?
In my 1948-55 chassis catalog, It's called "Cross Member (frame) and it's #5035 for a "TH" (F-600) , TCAA 5035-A
Anyone out there have a 56 chassis parts catalog? I'll bet Bill (numberdummy ) has one!

Bob,
That's a 53-56 chassis catalog?
That will make that part the same probably.
The #5035 is generic for several trucks. So I'll assume that the TCAA 5035-A part number is the same 55 & 56.
That will make all the rivet holes match up!
That will be pretty cool!!
I can just bolt the thing in place!
You guys are awesome!
