Do you have a mute button on the steering wheel? The diagram I have has

I haven't found a mute wire yet. I looked at the Expedition wiring, and I can't find any mute wires except the one that goes from the main radio to the subwoofer. I do see a lot of computer data lines, so if you do have a mute button somewhere, it might communicate the mute function over these data lines.
