armrest covers?

armrest covers?
I was wondering if there is such a thing as an armrest cover? The top of my armrest lid is completely trashed and I'd like to put something over it to cover it up. The rest of the armrest is in OK condition so I don't want to have to replace the whole thing. Is there a place I can find something like this for a Ranger? Or even a universal cover of some kind would be great, if it exists. Thanks for any help on this.

Or to add to Rockledge's statement...My old man had the same problem in his Ranger. He went to Wally World and just got plain black fabric and had my mom sew elastic around the end and it fits on like a glove and looks good too.

i found a set of neoprene seat covers on the jc whitney site that includes a cover for the console. i dont know if it covers the top also.

Armrest Cover
Good luck finding an aftermarket replacement. I spent an entire evening looking on parts websites for one with no luck. Used one's on Ebay are far & few in between & they are way overpriced imho. My 2000 Mazda cover was trashed when I bought it. I finally took the armrest console out, removed the cover, carefully pried out all the staples, then used the old cover as a pattern and cut a new one out of an old denim jacket. I stapled it back in with an added piece of foam. If you find an aftermarket supply, please post where you got it.
