Need help with possible purchase..
hey. there a 1995 f250 7.3L 5 spd 4x4 for sale where i live and it sexy, but... it has 364000kms on it. its 4000. how long do these engines go for?? and how much do they cost to rebuild?? its been well taken care of and he said most of the kms are highway? thx

That's not many kms at all for a powerstroke that is only 280,000 or so miles if it was maintained mine has 265,000 kms and is running strong I see a lot of guys here with 300.000 and more still going strong

Actually, it's only about 220,000 miles. Is that $CDN ot $US? Either way, that's a sweet deal. My wife just paid US$5500 for the same truck with about 150,000 miles (240,000 km). 5-speeds are hard to find. Presuming from the unit of measure that you're in Canada, one thing to be VERY watchful of is rust. This truck seems to have lots of "booby traps" for rust.
