When I finally got on and was ready to tell stories most everyone was gone, dammit.
So most of you know I am 28 and Troy is 41, well my step mom is only 38. So to my girls that makes daddy older than grandma. Riley, our oldest, figured that out last year. She thought it was soooo funny that grandma was younger and she teased Troy that he was old.
Later I will tell you how my stepmom was the flower girl in my Dad and Linda's (real mom) wedding.
I picked up a good book, Helm, by Steven Gould. Read til the wee hours friday morning, then worked all day, and slept til midnite, finished the book early this morning and slept a few hours more...I just couldnt put it down!
I read a lot of sci fi and fantasy...usually between 8 and 20 books a month...I dont watch much tv...
it's getting expensive, even buying used books....time to renew my library card!
I'm reading the new book "Pure Goldwater" a book of all of Barry Goldwater's notes & memoirs. It was written by his son & John Dean. It is interesting. I grew up in a Goldwater house. My parents were Goldwater 100%. I have always had an interest in him. I first came to Arizona in the 50s as a kid. I always loved Arizona.
Winter is good...a New England winter isn't necessarily so. At least in my business...snow definitely curtails buying. Add to that the exhorbitant costs of heating your home...doesn't leave a lot of money to buy new(er) vehicles.
