When I finally got on and was ready to tell stories most everyone was gone, dammit.

So most of you know I am 28 and Troy is 41, well my step mom is only 38. So to my girls that makes daddy older than grandma. Riley, our oldest, figured that out last year. She thought it was soooo funny that grandma was younger and she teased Troy that he was old.

Later I will tell you how my stepmom was the flower girl in my Dad and Linda's (real mom) wedding.

wow...noon already and I hadn't posted!

I picked up a good book, Helm, by Steven Gould. Read til the wee hours friday morning, then worked all day, and slept til midnite, finished the book early this morning and slept a few hours more...I just couldnt put it down!

I read a lot of sci fi and fantasy...usually between 8 and 20 books a month...I dont watch much tv...

it's getting expensive, even buying used books....time to renew my library card!

19 days til the surgery!

94 shopping days til Xmas!

I'm reading the new book "Pure Goldwater" a book of all of Barry Goldwater's notes & memoirs. It was written by his son & John Dean. It is interesting. I grew up in a Goldwater house. My parents were Goldwater 100%. I have always had an interest in him. I first came to Arizona in the 50s as a kid. I always loved Arizona.

Good morning arizonans and visitors!

I cant seem to read enough lately...I usually read in spurts...Im almost finished another book, The Renegades of Pern, by Anne McCaffrey.

at about the cost of a gallon of gas for a used book...it takes me much farther for much longer!

keeps me from spending more money i dont have to spare, also!

We're in a great stretch of weather...upper 70s...mostly sunny...no rain. Overnight lows have been as low as 30!!!

Fall is my favorite season...the only problem...winter follows it...every darn year!!!

Winter is good...a New England winter isn't necessarily so. At least in my business...snow definitely curtails buying. Add to that the exhorbitant costs of heating your home...doesn't leave a lot of money to buy new(er) vehicles.
