Well the money I've sunk into mods is paying off! Was on the way to look at a WO boiler tonight after a not so good day. Traffic was a PIA so I went to jump the interstate. Had to stop on the ramp due to traffic and almost got rearended by a punk in a S10. As soon as the lanes were clear and we started moving he cut hard and floored it toward the fast lane.
Well my foot got heavy, and a grin started 2nd to 3rd chirped the tires, 3rd to 4th chirped, 4th to 5th was just pretty darn fast! Looked out the window and he was no where to be see, checked the mirror and had to laugh. Backed out at 80 and waved as he sailed past trying to regain any diginity he had to start with.
After thoughts are boy did I look like a dumb kid!! LoL And didn't pay enuf attention to the gauges...not sure how high they went, pyro was back down to 1000 when I looked.
Yeah, I don't like to be a ***** but the ex brake sure makes ya laugh when getting tailgated. Most back off after getting so close to the bumper. Wonder how a back up camera would do for capturing facial expressions and smoke distribution???
Funny stuff but I would like to hear more about the WO burner. The price of fuel oil killed me last winter. I was thinking of trying a 50/50 mix of WO and HHO and keeping the standard oil burner I have but I might want to make the switch.

Many of the WO burners are big on the BTU's and expensive. The unit I was looking at last night was a clean burn CTB200 (200,000 BTU's). Guy is using it to heat his garage and house. Biggest problem with using it straight for a house is unless you have a need for that many BTU's it will short cycle and start to soot up from not drafting (flue not getting hot enuf). Never any fun to clean.
I've seen some guys mix WO and HHO, don't know how much of a mix they were using but it worked. Must have been pretty heavy, they were having pump/nozzle issues due to the thickness while cold. Also were starting to build a crust at the end of the burner. Regular insp/maintence would be a must.
IMHO if it were me and nat gas wasn't available I'd put the money into a 96+ eff LP boiler.
Have NG. Also thinking just get a gas burner to replace the oil burner I have so I dont have to switch out boilers. But I am not to sure how well that would work but the cost of a whole new setup is keeping me from replacing the boiler I have.

Thanks
The only problem with swapping in a gas burner is your still only going to be in the 80% eff range. So depending on what gas is running up there and how much you need to heat your home you can still end up with some pricey bills. Wether their as much as oil probably not, but doesn't save like a 90+ Replacing will defiantely be more $$, but will bring more savings too.
