Do the 79 and some 80+ models have the same basic wiring for lights?(have a F series book)
Brake lights do not work, tail and signals do. Also cannot read the fuse box printing (has glass tube fuses).
Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Cal
79 E350 Hauler w/2000 dually box, looks Wild, White w/ Good graphics.
Cal, since tail and turns work, I suspect you have a bad brake light switch. It's attached to the brake pedal on your model (I think). You can test it with an ohmmeter, but you may need to see a chiropactor afterwards. Don

Don: Did that, then looked wires over front to back, then got out the WD40 and sprayed the fuse box (little rust and dust). I took out every one, swtiched a couple around and presto.
Went to NAPA bought a handful of new ones seems okay now.A lot of orphan wires under there to clean up. It appears fuse box diagram different than 80's F150.
If any one has a FUSEBOX DIAGRAM, would appreciate it.
