1990 E350 w/7.3 no dash lights

blowing fuse for dash lights when turn on lights, does anyone have eletrical diagram for that with fuse box, side marker lights work

The dash illumination lights are powered from the tail/running light power through a fuse that is only for the dash. Has the radio been changed to afternarket? There is a wire to the factory radio that is often improperly hooked to a aftermarket radio creating a grounded dash light circuit and blown fuses.

ended up being the blue/red stipe wire in under steering wheel hazard/blinker assy.

That wire is commonly hooked up to aftermarket stereos as a power source
If you do that, it'll blow the 5 amp illumination fuse
