My truck was broken into and the sterio/nav system was well all jacked up from them trying to get it out.
The truck was towed to our local dealer (running great when I parked it the night before).... it is now showing the code PO274 Cylinder 5 Injector Circuit High and they are telling me that it has nothing to do with the break in and dash damage... and that it is a short under the valve cover???
Any way to double check this? Seems funny to me the truck was running just fine... someone breaks in and jacks up the entire dash and all in the truck and this is in no way related... and its some sort of electrical short.
Please help with any info as I know nothing about this type of thing....
Unfortunately they are correct about it not being related to your break in. An injector code can happen at any time. It might have been there for a while without you even knowing it. Does your truck run badly now?

Yes, It was running great... no problems ever.... truck was broken into basically Wed night after the cops were done fingerprinting it thurs morning I started it ... it started hard and was shaking and sounded funny. Thats why I have a hard time with them telling me it has nothing to do with the break in. Its not like it was two days later or so when it started that... it was the first time i started it after the break in!
