well... we made it off the base faster than getting on.... I left just before the thunderbirds show.... I know... that was a big part of the show... but my son was itching to get to a beach party and I wasn't looking forward to 2-3 hours in traffic... great to finally meet some of the gang.... hopefully we can meet up again.
I finally left base about 9:00 last night after we ran out of beer the third time (don't worry, I only had a couple and was fine to drive according to two cops).
Made it home in the usual amount of time.....just five hours late.
Good afternoon everyone!...finally got a chance to post...great weather and show yesterday!!!
After seeing that Sean wanted to meet at Arby's at 11AM I opted to get there earlier...Chip, Bill and I had a big breakfast at Denny's about 8AM and was on the base and parked and watching the show about 9:15...sometime around 1:30 we met Sean and Steve but didn't see anyone else...BTW it was nice meeting you Steve...
We decided to leave about 3PM in order to beat the traffic and got off the base about 3:45 and got back to Bill's house in Foxboro about 5:30 and relaxed on his deck with couple of cold ones and a few cheeseburgers!
Wish we could have caught up with you guys...maybe at another event
