All kidding aside, the back gate (think they call it the Granby gate) should be open for the airshow. Might be a little easier to get in and out after the show.

Big Ken probably knows the back gate since it is the one nearest the Cathedral....

The back gate is about 25 seconds from my house. I live in Granby. It a very little known gate to the airshow fans. Very easy in and out. They park you in a field and you have to walk a bit to shuttle buses. They drive you across the north end of the runway. Only bad this is you cannot leave until the show is over due to crossing the runway.

You, sir, are a pervert....good catch though.

And you haven't had me over for a beer yet because....? We probably pass your house when we golf at the Westover course.

PHP Code:
They park you in a field
"They" being myself and the other poor slobs from my squadron. If it is hot out, think about us with some cold water or something....maybe we can hook you up with a better parking spot or by making sure your tires keep all their air in them.

I dont think you will need any cold water Saturday and Sunday. Saturaday looks like a total washout and sunday soes not look much better

I have looked forward to this weekend for months. Down to crapper it goes at this point.

The dissapointing thing is I work 7 days a week and I take a day off ever 60-80 days or so. I took this weekend off to just relax and enjoy myself. Looks like I will be working instead.

what makes it worse is that the airshow was originally scheduled for last month and the weather was very nice. but, formerly being a meteorologist, I can tell you that tuesday is too early to cancel plans for sunday due to weather. hope for the best.

I heard that Westover can't have a airshow before August due to nesting birds. Is that true?

I will hope for the best......lord knows I deserve it.

I live my life by the weather. I figured after 20 inches of rain in June, July, and August I was owed some sort of gratitude.
