I have a '95 PSD with 250k miles on it, and the way it was starting towards the end of last winter tells me it needs new glow plugs. It starts fine in the summer, but the weather is already turning sort of cool up here in Spokane WA.
I've searched the forum and see that ZD10/11 plugs aren't available anymore, so what brand should I buy?
I also see I'll need a 10mm deep well socket and some vacuum tubing to help get the plugs out. I did this job once before with a friend helping who had an amazing tool set - it still took us almost 4 hours. Anyway, any other critical tools I should have?
I'll check the wiring harness for signs of melting as I've had that problem before, anything else I should inspect?
