new speakers

talked to a crutchfield guy and these are what he suggested. they will be run off the stock nav unit. i know an amp is better but i dont want to deal with it and he says it will be fine. just curious what some of you think

I desperately want to do speakers in mine and I have been eyeing Infinity. However, the front speakers are most critical and you want them to be as clear as you can afford. I think those are a pretty good choice, however because it looks like it will fill the hole with just the mid, mounting the tweeter might be difficult. I would choose the 6.5" mid and do an adapter plate to keep the tweeter close.

I have 4 6822's in my truck with one 8" Infinity Sub. I wanted more "quality" sound than quantity "bass", and this combo is perfect. Running it all off of one 4 channel amp. Good Luck!

My last truck I had infinity reference in the rear and boston acoustics up front, both 2-way designs. Sounded alright but I definately liked the bostons better. Granted this was several years ago. But I have all bostons mids and highs now and am very happy. I don't think you will go wrong with infinity's though.
