Hey guys! Are there any online retailers selling good direct replacement radiators for 73-79 F-150s w/ 460/C6? If so, please point me in the right direction. I need help ASAP.
Awhile ago I needed a new rad-could never find the supercool one, and local parts stores wanted way too much.
So I took it to a local rad shop, had it re-cored-the tanks were good. Ended up getting up to date core technology-4 core that is housed in the regular tanks-and it will outlast the alum. ones.
The alum. ones are more efficient-but non repairable by ones self if it cracks(usually an easy repair)
Works great! Plus it helps out the local shops.

If you don't mind me asking... how much did this cost? This sounds like a good alternative for me
Actually-the above prices are pretty damn good. Mine was $400 after taxes. So, it is always worth shopping around! Mind you, alot of stuff seems more expensive for us Canuckers, hehe.
I bought one from the Guy You found on E-bay and I'm very happy with the way it cools My Diesel

I did go with one of those aluminum ones that Broncograveyard sells (the extra cooling, plastic tank ones). I'm not to the point of running it yet. They are supposed to be more efficient than stock ones and even super coolers and yet smaller. I guess I'll find out.
