Not to hijack the thread, but to get to the inner dust seal you need to remove the axle seal in the steering knuckle to ge the axle out. How in the heck can you remove it easily? I needed to replace ball joints and mangled the axle seal in the knuckle trying to get it out.

Right. That dust seal is pretty much just hand pressed on the axle. The floppy ring is what rides inside the axle tube. What did they expect to happen?!
As for the big metal seal, I just tugged on mine until it slid out. Technically, there are only 6 bolts (not counting Lugs) to get to the axle removal process. @ for the brake caliper and 4 for the hub assembly. Both use the same socket Then you only have the spring clip on the hub lock out and the snap ring for the trust washers... and then it's time!
