Hey guys.
I am having a problem yesterday my truck started loosing power (RPMs would still go up but no get up and go) When this happened the first time my Wait To Start light came on and the OD light reset and went off. It comes and goesusually after running for 15 to 20 mns. Im going to the shop in a few to see how it does.
Also I filled up the day before at a Speedway I usually dont go to (but Diesel was only $3.96, hard to say no).
Also A buddy of mine said his brothers truck was acting the same way a year or two back and it was bad glow plugs and wires.
Yeah i dont think its glow plugs either. Just went and got form the shop put a new fuel filter in and it started fine and drove about 6 or 8 miles and started doing it again, this time WTS light and check engine light both came on.
Perhaps injectors or wire harness?
OK the other day had a buddy scan my truck and we pulled these codes
P0220
P0344
P0380
P0475
P0603
P1464
P1536
P1706
P1711
This was after 40mns of driving and 2hrs of ideling, then we cleared the codes.
2 days ago driving down the road truck started spitin adn spuderin then just died, about 10mns later it started back up and drove her home.
Today scaned it again and got
P0100 mass/volume air flow a circuit
I am at a loss if any body can make sense of this.
Could my new fuel pump be bad? and how could i check?
Just for grins, pull each wiring harness out of the valve cover gasket carefully. Then SMELL IT. If it smells like burned eggs it is the wiring harness under the valve cover. Check it out, could be an easy fix. It happened to mine.

Thanks Harry
None of those codes are PSD related. Most likely the scanner is not capable of reading a diesel.
You can check the fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel filter housing. It looks like the air fitting on a tire. You can use one of those cheap tire air gages but it will be ruined in the process. They don't like diesel squirted into them .....or you can rent fuel pressure tester from Autozone...it's free!
thanks for the input fellas.
I think i found the prob, the valve cover wire harness on the outside of the valve cover next to the turbo. All the wires are melted together.
