Thinking About a F-150.................

Haven't been on here for a while. I'm thinking about a 08 F-150 Lariat. I sold my 02 SuperDuty V-10 last year because I don't tow anymore. I really loved the truck but it was at 95000 miles and millage was dropping below 10. I picked up a 08 Tacoma Double Cab Prerunner loaded. Its been a year and I just cant get used to this thing. Its a good little truck and hauls ***....... but its too little, and thats whats bugging me. Also the fit and finish isn't all that great and the paint just plain sucks *** along with the fact that I want to give the USA the business and go back to a full size. I hate the fact that I have a import even though it was built in Long Beach. How do you guys like yours? Im looking at the SuperCrew shorty 5.4 2wd with leather. I think I am going to wait a few months until the 09's come out and go for a 08 when I can get 0% APR and a smokin deal. What do you think?

Thats funny about your Tacoma being built in Long Beach. I thought the Bed was built in Long Beach, but the truck is put together in Fremont, CA. I have friends that work at the NUMI plant in Fremont, and they would thank you for supporting their jobs even if your buying a Toyota.

Buying a toy still supports American workers even though it's a real popular choice on this website.

I'd buy the FX2. It's sharp as hell.

Thanks for the reply guys. I just realized I put this thread in the wrong section. As for the supporting Toyota USA.......................I gave them the business but i'm over this thing. As for the FX2..............I dont like it and the interior, it's just not my deal whe way the seats look. I like the tan leather in the Lariat unless they make me a smokin deal on a tan cloth XLT. We'll see. I'll just post in the right section now, thanks.

It had 38 miles on it when I got it, now it has close to 4,000.

Here are some more pictures of it:

Thinking the same thing.....

This is also my first post. I have been looking at an 08 F150 for the past couple of months. My question is did I wait too long? Should I have taken the employee pricing or will there be better deals this fall?

In central IL, they are not working with you too much with you anymore even though there are still several 08's on the lot.

Nah, it will only get better. As soon as the 09's hit the lot they will deal pretty hard just to get rid of the 08's. The only thing is you have less to choose from but chances are you will find what you want if you shop. Hey Supercrewzin01, if you got 16 grand off than you must have gotten it in the 30 grand ballpark right? Just curious. Also if you got the rebates did you take the higher APR or bust their ***** and get the lower rate? PM me if you want, its turned off on your end, thanks.
