I didn't look very close, but its not the mitsubishi (daves second one). That is the only kind I've ever seen. I think the one on the truck is the one that Mega Cab showed in the link. It is funny looking, but it turns it over real fast.
I'll have to check with my Dad. He gets them from his automotive electrical supplier.
You can call him if you want, tell him Jeff told you to. 541-367-8094 H&H Machine ask for Nick.
I pulled the vacuum lines off different places and had good vacuum. Stopped by the OReilly and bought a master cylinder and between rain storms, got it changed. When the vacuum pump dies, does that leave you with no vacuum?

yup.
when the vacuum pump dies, the brake pedal will go rock hard with very little stopping unless you stand on the pedal..
when the master dies, the pedal gets mushy, or just goes to the floor with no brakes at all.
I had a 1977 ford and had to replace the mastercylinder 3 or 4 times at least. On that truck the mastercylinder went out slowly. Lots of warning. This time it worked fine then it was like, BRAKES, WHAT BREAKS???? I'm just glad it did it when I was slowing to pull a u turn and not trying to avoid some of these rocket scientists that are on the roads these days. Scary is all I can say!!
i have had it both ways. stopped for a light and everything was fine. 1/2 mile down the road, and a car pulled out in front of me. hit the brakes, and knew instantly the pump went, cause it was all i could do ,with both feet on the pedal, and pulling up on the steering wheel to keep from hitting it.
and 175 miles from home, hit the brakes to slow down for an interstate onramp, and the pedal went to the floor.
drove home 175 miles using the 5 speed transmission downshifting for brakes.
