The modifications will start. I need some suggestions on my first mods on my 7.3idi. I want to add exhaust, right now it has the stock y pipe and some one has run a 2 1/2 straight pipe. I really want stacks, but have 2 children and I just don't want them to be bothered bye the drone. So I was thinking dual 3" right out of the manifolds into flows and out in front of the rear tires. Due the 7.3's like big exhaust or does it kill low end torque? And I also need to upgrade the air intake it is stock and to my knowledge no one makes an intake system for our trucks. Any one know right off hand the size of the hole at the base of the air cleaner, or at the mouth of the intake? I will also turn the pump up, after installing the pyro of course. Any suggestions, are these ok mods or am I off base, you guys are the pros.
