roger99, if you look at the DIY injectors site you can build your own injectors and the cost difference isn't all that much between AB's and AD's as I recall.
thanks i guess us early birds just need to spend more money to get the hp as the later years
depends on how you look at it....the early bird hasn't been beet on quite so hard cause the power wasn't there..and every thing we need to swap out..most all of us has to swap to get good power..I got used parts and did the turbo up grade for 1000 bucks...my early turbo **** out on me and that's $750 to replace..so I just up dated instead...I .just did the modded 17 HPOP witch most want to do.and .we all do bigger injectors any how..
stock for stock your only 20 HP short...they do have turbo's that bolt right up to early bird..that a set of splits and some tuning you will be around 400 hp..

I don't even think its 20hp. My early bird claims 250 on the valve cover while most claim 235... IH vs. Ford HP ratings. What's funny about the cost of upgrading is... most late99-03 guys buy big fancy HPOPs for big $ and us early bird guys buy their stockers for cheap compared to what the big oil stuff costs, so really we are probably ahead.
lables are wrong..ford miss labled them..ford cut them back to 235 with a smaller pump and turbo..mine said 250 as well..IH specs with there set up was 250..
Hmm, so what size are say baby swamps? Aren't they only like 150cc? Not much bigger than the late injectors. I put them in the 97 I had and it made a huge difference with the tuning, but I'm guessing you don't have as much room to improve on a late model?
the OBS trucks didnt even have 100 cc inectors..i think they where like 90cc..i dont remember..so 150cc would feel strong..im goung with atleast 160's but they have some injectors that are over 200 cc for our trucks..
