yes that is what i am hoping i may take it to the track next sat and just see what it runs that will tell me a littler more i guess. this is a super site and thanks for everones help
with the smaller turbo you have more pep down low in the RPM's.the turbo spools faster...in the long runs he will pass you back....
I've not spent a lot of time in different trucks, but I find that from a dead stop it takes my turbo a while to spool... not sure if it's normal or not but I've always felt that the OBS trucks have more pep than a stock SD.
You are right BTW, OBS trucks have 90cc AA's stock unless they were Cali models, then they had 120cc AB splits.
You shouldn't be able to "tell" if a wastegate opens. It just limits boost/backpressure. If you mean how the truck feels like it pulls hard then tapers off, that is just the dynamics of the engine/turbo setup and the torque curve.
its a smaller turbo..just like the OBS turbo..there one in the same..are you sure you dont have a leak in the up pipes??
Pretty sure I have no leaks, I can hit 22 psi pretty easily, I've hit up to 26 psi pulling a load. I think my HPOP might be weak and doesn't like to respond well when matted from an idle (this is the story I'm going to be using to convince wifey to let me buy a 17* HPOP, think it will work? )

lol..it may....where is the DP tuner?? (thought you had one in) you need better MPG.....
No DP tuner yet. Now there is a new version coming out and I'm not even up to speed with the old version! Trust me been trying to convince her that I need (not want) a DP but she's a tough cookie to crack... she's not buying my story.
