turn signals stoped working

i started having problems with my turn signals blinking fast after i hooked up a trailer that had a short after disconnecting the trailer the lights blinked fast like i had a bulb out but they were all good, now my turn signals stoped working all together, i checked the fueses and they are all good, the lights do not illuminate at all neather do the dash indicators. im on the road right now and need to get this fied, all other lights including emergency flashers work

Check the flasher unit. There are two. One for the turn signal one for the 4 ways. One on the front of the fuse panel one on the rear

auto zone sells a heavy duty flasher unit also - one that the trailer won't throw. clicks a little louder, too, and still pretty cheap.

problem solved swapped the two flasher units and now the turn signals work and the flashers don't, will be sending ya some reps on that one, thankyou
