dana 44 swap
a guy wants to trade me his 1990 ford bronco for my dirt bike the bronco is lifted 6 inches and has a dana 44 axle swap but is rusted to nothing i have a 1988 f150 on a 6 inch lift with 35"s that is mint but has stock front axle how hard is it to put the dana out of the bronco in to my f150 is it almost all bolt on?

I do it is a bolt in swap, i think there is something you have to do with steering though...
Do a search in the off road forum, i know its been brought up.
Seems there is one thing you have to move.... Not sure what it is though.

It really depends how he did the SAS. There are different ways to go about doing it, some of which might be bolt-on to another vehicle, and others might require welding. If the owner can't tell you the answer, then without some detailed pics no one here is going to be able to say for sure one way or the other either.
