suspension ?

I have noticed that my suspension bushings and cab to frame bushings are all getting somewhat worn. My cab actually will slip a little on the drivers side when making right turns. I have tried tightening the cab to frame bolt just under the drivers feet but that did not help. Anyone have recommendations on replacements. Also looking at maybe getting a 2 in lift, any input here also needed. Thanks

I just went to energy suspensions website looking for cab mount bushings. They don't even list a part number for a Superduty application. That being the case, new OEM cab mounts are probably the best option.

2" really isn't a lift, it's more of a level. Doesn't even require longer shocks. I used a single add a leaf in the front of mine. I like the look and the capacity, but it rides buckboard stiff. In retrospect I probably should have done a full replacement spring or a longer shackle.

Thanks for your input. A rougher ride is not what I want. I will have to do some research so I can find something that will give me lift but not make the ride worse. Afterall these trucks do not ride all that smooth to begin with.

you can do a shackle, bracket/shackle kit, or mini-pack bolted into the front spring. All of those keep the factory spring and spring-rate.

Or, if you want it really nice, get some Deaver or RCD or Donahue front springs. Best of all worlds, except price.
