Has anyone tried one of the torque converters from Transtar Industries? I was thinking about the model #FM64RX-S3 for my my 2000 Ex 7.3 It has a Magnaflow exhaust and Edge Evolution 2 programmer w/6637 air filter.
I use Transtar converters in my shop when I cant use my main reman guy. Never have a problem with any of there converters. Stay away from Dacco converters there junk!
That converter will work great for your truck, the lower stall and the multi disk is a great improvement.
I don't even think Transtar makes the converter...I think they just put their name on it...not 100% sure though
I've been using Pro Torque F-59HD multi clutch converters in all the "big" Fords for the last year & everyone has been real happy with it.
