Anyone know of a good provider for patch panels. I have a 95 F150 with the normal rust above the rear wheels. I had thought about trading the truck off,,,but the dealerships won't give squat for it, so I might as well fix it up a little. Any help appreciated. Thanks,,,
I used the wheel arch panels from BroncoGraveyard as they are local to me. Used the inner wheel arches too. I believe they were Keystone pieces.
The cab corner pieces I used were from ebay. $75 for a pair of supercab, cab corners. All were of same quality.
Make sure to weld in patch panels. I used 3M metal adhesive. It came out pretty good, but could see ghost lines where the panels met, 6 months later.
You could also take a look at LMC's F150 TRUCK catalogs. They have a large body replacement section. I am also going to do one wheel arch panel that is just starting to show it's age no rust holes yet but those raised spots that hide the rust under them, my 92 Nite's supercab corner's are on that list too.
Virto, Thank You for saving me the time & trouble with LMC panels if they are known for being thin, and sometimes warped. Just got the LMC catalog they have most panels but if they are not good,it's a waste of time. I will look at NPD. Thanks
doors fenders panels and the like are not plug and play. some work is expected as these are uncompensated stampings. if you go to carlisle, I can get you the number of a guy from altoona who wholesales these things, including entire sides inner and outer
quad...Altoona is about a 15-minute drive for me. To whom might you be referring as a source for these panels? Sounds like I could save a bundle on shipping!
814 931 1968 - ask for Jimmy. he typically does not sell outside of the shows. but if he does to you, it will save a bundle. (I didnt see him at truck nats so Im thinking economics are affectign his biz as well....)
