Ball Joints
My 04 350 4x4 is in need of replacement and I want to know who has the best joints and where to find them. Oh yea, I need to do quickly so I don't screw up my new Cooper 285 ST's.

I'm seeing ball joints from around $20 to $65. I paid Ted Wiens Firestone in Henderson, NV a few years ago to replace the ball joints (both sides) on my '95 7.3L 4x4 and they charged me over $900!! I can't remember the exact price.

This is one of those subjects where it is common for some and not for others. I had mine checked by my tech when I recently had my brakes done and they were perfectly fine. I was pleasantly suprised to hear this considering the truck has 110K on it and I have been running oversized tires (35X12.50) on it for the past 40-45K or so which tends to be hard on compontents such as ball joints.
