Nothing to do with IDIs
I've always wondered: if these info-mercial products are so great how come they're "not avalable in stores!"
About running it off a generator, that gets a little more complicated. First, you need to establish what the minimum power requirement is to drive that van at a average cruising speed. A wild guess would be 40Hp, so your generator would have to put out at least that much. If on the other hand you spend a lot of time stuck in traffic, than the average Hp requirement drops because you are not under power as ofter and now its possible to get away with a smaller genset. But its still going to be quite large because overal genset are not very compact relative to the power output.[/quote]
First off, Im supprised no one commented on this. ITs very interesting to me. I have always wanted to expirment with this. Since no one around me really messes with it, I somewhat forgot about it. Also, I never ran the calculations on how cheap it would be to charge the batteries. The cost is very minimal and efficient. I guess unlike fuel where around 75% off it is wasted as heat in the engine wasted through the radiator and exhaust, the electric motors are more efficient and produce less heat.
Well, I wasn't meaning running the generator while driving but just as a powersorce when needed to recharge like when you get to work or store where a plug may not be available. (although I guess if you sit in traffic in rush hour then it might actually help) My uncle has on of them honda generators that puts out 2000w continuse load. It will run for hours on just a 1/2 gallon of gas. And is so quite, I can barly hear it when in the house while its on the front step. But even if you did leave the little generator run while driving, you may be able to add 10 miles on your charge while driving on the highway.
If I ever get out of this appartment and a place of my own, This will definatly be a field to expiremt with.
If your intersted in talking more about them let me know. I just didn't want to push the subject unless you like talking (typing) about it. Thanks
As for the kitty, (which is what I actually call it), I will leave it alone. This cat plays Fetch, Is that normal? It will actully begg you to play fetch by bringing its ball and droping it on my keyboard and umm do that loud purr noise like when they see a bird out the window. And will do this for hours.
Dodge/cummins, The distibuter/sparkplug thing is funny And Im sure some out there would fall for it just like the infomercials. Just like Arizona has ocean front property. But Thats only on a cummins. And if you remeber Me saying we have converted 6bts at work that use cng (compressed natural gas @3000psi) and have a coil pack and spark plugs , I noticed they were genuine cummins parts in cummins boxes with cummins sign printed on the coil pack!!! So, next time you go in a parts store, ask for a set of plugs, plug wires and Ignition pack for cummins and see what they say. They probably ask If you would like muffler bearings to go with that (which there is such a thing as a muffler bearing as well).
I have seen some guys runing CNG with their diesel and getting awesome mileage.
As for muffler bearings: my turbo IS my muffler on the '94 and it has bearings in it. Someday I'll probably need muffler bearings.
I named him Rooster after John Wayne in True Grit, he was known as "the ole rat killer" 'cuz he shot them with his Colt.
By the way anybody who hasn't spent a Saturday watching a John Wayne marathon has done themselves a terrible diservice.
They are out of stock right now, but usually have a new shipment in shortly.

Also notice clutch belts at the bottom of the page, as well as hollow plug wires and spark plugs.
The hollow wires carry much more spark, and the spark plugs keep it from leaking out.
Over under performance, notice the boost bar and the radiator insulation, both are great products.
The adjustable power band is the ultimate addition to any motor.

I have actually found a better "A round tuit" out in Kansas, but the Kale Co version is better than none at all.
The passenger noise control and Butt Dyno are the best products on this page I think.

The Flux Capacitor may be what we really need, remember in 1965 fuel was about 12 cents per gallon.

Excuses for a late load, excuse 5
Driver was snake bit while changing summer air in tires to winter air.

Seasonal Tire Air [1cas] - $29.95 : KaleCoAuto, Hard to find automotive items!
When you need strange products and want the best, KaleCo is the one stop shop.
The tire shop mounted them though, is there any way of knowing what air they put in it. I think they may have put atlantic winter air in it.
Nice webstore! I'm thinking of upgrading my turbocharger, but now I'd rather save up for the flux capacitor so I can screw around with history on long weekends.
Not really sure, maybe I'll just go with the adjustable power band instead.
I guess if you take care of stuff it can seemingly last forever.
Now that I've jinxed myself it'll blow-up tomorrow.
I don't hate the GM diesels but they are just not in the same league with the big boys. I am thinking about getting a donor and putting a mechanical 6.5L turbo in my '70 GMC ext. cab 4wd. It'd be kinda cool.
