I am finally getting around to buying the wicked wheel to cure my surge problems while towing. I'm thinking of getting the extreme diesel wheel. Can't beet $60 and free shipping. I tried to look up the 7.3 dot com site for the install and cant get it to come up.
Is this a good wheel? Does any body know where there is a wright up on how to install this wheel with the turbo still on the truck?
aftermarket compressor wheels for surge are the same as the early '99 wheels, they just have different names.
I always pass Haysville on the way to South Dakota, just North of the Belle Plaine service area and South of Wichita, right? One of my frequent fuel stops along that route.
Hey rich, your right. 3 miles to the west and your at the house.
Are you talking about the wheels just from the early 99's, or the wheels from the 94's to the 99's? I still have a turbo from my 94 sitting in the garage. Would this work on the 01?
The 94 turbo won't work because the tubine inlet is square, and the e99 is round. However, I'm not sure if the compressor is the same. One would think it is??? Either way $70 is cheap piece of mind when the thing is spinning what- 100,000 rpms?

I would give Bob a call at Dieselsite.com or one of the other vendors - I am not sure about the '94 at all.
On another note, the North Texas Powerstroke Assoc. is having it's annual Rally from 3-5 Oct in Caddo Mills, TX just East of Dallas. Gonna be alot of great trucks & folks there, all kinds of different mods and some big HP trucks as well.
