I was reading in these forums that anything greater than B5 may cause problems with the 6.4, but what about the 7.3? I have been using anywhere from B5-B11.
i run 100 in my truck most of the time with no problems, may be hard on some factory fuel lines i havent had any leaks but i dont have a factory fuel system
once you've run b100 for about 6 months, your stock rubber fuel lines will turn to goo. Check out The Grease Works Online Store for a replacement kit.
btw - no, I don't get a commission from these guys, I've just installed their kit on three 97 psd's... I've been making/using biodiesel for about three years now. These trucks are great for WVO, too, if that interests you.
i was under the impression that 96and up already had the synthetic fuel lines and that bio did not hurt them. mabey someone here can prove or disprove that.

Both my first 97 psd and my father-in-law's went gooey on all the rubber lines after about 6 months or so. First it drew air, and then it leaked fuel, which got all over my wire harnesses...

The ones in the valley (Three on the pump, and one vertical beside the bowl), and the high pressure lines in front of the bowl. My first truck also killed the diaphragm on a few fuel pumps... What a mess...
I outfitted my next one with the viton lines right from the start. Live and learn! All good so far, and it's been about 6 months...
