Yea uh cuz theres not a problem with my valves at all, and how is a glasspack any different than straight pipe other than a little fiberglass? Also, if a straight pipe exaust system can burn valves, how can you run open headers? or even better shorties? Burnt valves come from a leaned out condition, a leak at the manifold, or no manifold at all. And i can tell you even running open manifolds wont always burn a valve... our feedtruck which is a 73 international with the 400" V6 has had a broken manifold for the last ... hell 15 years or so.

"Running straight pipes will burn your valves up", what tree have you just fallen out of mate???..........we use to have stock cars that just had pcs. of driveshaft for exhaust pipes & never had any valve problems........six cylinders & v-8s, same pipes

at a stop light dad always has his windows rolled down and some rice burner pulls up with his music loud and won't turn it down.
he starts revving it higher and higher until they turn their music down.........that's in a 82 Pete with a 400 Cummins, though........usually they turn their music down.
