Completed, finally! Got the axle reassembled and reinstalled back into the truck. Tightened everything, reinstalled the brakes and filled up the front diff. Hoped for the best as I took it for a drive, and everything feels/sounds great. The vibration is gone and I'm out about $50.

Good to hear, and for 50 that's far better that a new replacement would run. That local place I hit up for one and they would have to order it in so good thing the way you went worked out!!

After driving it all day today I haven't seen/heard/felt any more issues. Seems like it has all gone away and that problem is out of my hair. Cant argue for $50 at all! OH, it did cost me lunch for the two friends who did the work on the axle....still well worth it!
