lightning spring code?
im buying springs from a ford dealer because i work at one and i need the spring code for a 94 f150 lightning
i have a regular 94 f150 reg cab short bed

i need the code for the front springs
and yeah i tried to explain to the guy in parts that i just want the lightning springs but he started the arguement that they wouldnt fit for whatever reason and he was like just find a lightning spring code and i will look them up
yeah not the smartest person in the world
but yeah im just tryin to find the spring code for a 94 lightning so i can get them really cheap before i quit haha

Shoot me an email,, I have a 93 lightning part truck and could send you the VIN to get springs. But tell you what, I am taking the front springs off today(Fri 8-15) and will get any numbers off them , if they are still there. But if not I have the title to parts truck with vin in hand.

ok so i checked the spring code and he said that ford doesnt make those springs anymore?

ok i know i have pretty much the opposite of a lightning but i have replaced springs before. all i did was phone a local (pretty big though) spring shop. they asked for the spring code off the door jamb. asked front or rear, and i had them the next day. very reasonably priced too.
