Yes, I know that it sounded too good to be true.

I put the pictures of my Metruck in a gallery and do not see any way to put them on a reply. The below link will show you the pics. I see no other way to post pics. Maybe this will work. If not do you have any pointers? If you and I can't get them posted then please send me your email and I will just email the pics to you.

I must say that us a clean conversion. Its certainly one way to beat the price of diesel. There are times when I am envious of smaller cars that are more friendly to drive and fuel. But overall, Most of my driving is towing big long trailers loads of railings, so the big red beast has some job security for some time to come (along with me!).

Yeah, when some on claims that they have the solution to the world's energy problems and mentions terms like "overunity" or "unlimited" or "perpetual" (last one hardly used anymore) warning bells go off. We had some cases like that on the HHO injection thread as well, and frankly, we are still trying to see if the idea is any good. Some good claims so far, but hard to say if its real at this point.

Algae is close to being a "cure all" for energy problems but its a long way off from that right now, but it is getting closer. The main mechanism of the algae is photosynthesis from sunlight. Most certainly not something that has to be proven. The idea is sound, now its time to fine tune the production and extraction.

Thanks Jim for the pics assistance. I appearently still have not figured out how to post pics.

Thanks David for the complement on the Metruck. She is my little work horse and my running around town vehicle. Can't wait to finish the turbo charged 1.0 conversion.

They're "KINDA" MOPARS

You may not be aware but Cerebus Capital bought Chrysler something like two years ago. Then they bought Remington and Bushmaster Firearms. They already own a crap load of other companies.

You certainly aren't lacking in opinions that's for sure and for certain. I wouldn't call a Ford tempo a good car no matter what the powerplant was.

For all your "bad" experiences with Chryslers I've had good ones.
Every Ford car I owned that was built in the '80s was a GRADE A PIECE OF CRAP.
I had a '75 Maverick that was butt-ugly but it ran good and was tough enough to total a Firebird when they t-boned me and I then drive it home. That's the last trip it ever made though. The whole time I was growing up our Family Car was a FREE '63 Fairlaine and it ran forever it might still be running for all I know.

I'm secure in my Dodges and Jeeps, they've been great rigs and someone elses experience or opinion can't change history. I'm a MOPAR man at heart but that doesn't make everything else garbage.
Forgot my '52 *****'s/Overland 4wd. 1-Ton. That was my first rig! Bought it from my Maternal Grandfather and my Dad and I rebuilt it when I was 14-15. Sold it when I was in College and then bought it back. I'm going to upgrade it and let my oldest son use it for his first rig in about 8 years. The first upgrade will be the brakes, those suckers are entirely inadequate. There's no way I'm letting MY son drive around on those brakes.
