service engine light
I have an 03 explorer that just recently turned hundred thousand miles
this morning the service engine light came on, all the gauges look fine ,seems to be running fine. is there a reset switch or something ?

In your owner's manual there is a list of manitenance items the Ford recommends be performed at 100K miles. When the Odometer clicks 100K the service engine light is triggered as a reminder. The dealer and probably a lot of shops can clear it. You may also be able to clear it yourself, but I don't know the procedure.

I suggest you pull the codes before resetting it just to see why it came on. Most Autozones will pull them for free. They can also reset the codes with the reader, or you can reset them yourself by unhooking the battery for 10 minutes.
