are you thinking of going duals after the muffler? duals comming off of the stock exhaust manifolds are very difficult to run since the Transfer case is in the way. Duals also wont provide any performance gains.
if you are looking to improve performance for your we ole 302, look into headers, new y pipe (bassani) and a muffler of your choice. keep the pipe diameter around 2.5-3" max but stay single.
also the Flowmaster mufflers drone big time in the cab, look into the Hooker Aerochamber muffler. it sounds better and wont drone in the cab at all.

96 Bronco with 5.8
I'm looking to do the same with the exhaust on my bronco, what would be the best performance gains to help with efficiency. Also would like a nice sound that doesn't drone in the cab. ?
