Any updates on dates for the 2009? The latest posts when I searched were dated May, so I'm hoping as we get later in the year the dates will get firmer.

A local dealer estimates first of October, but it seemed to be a WAG when he said it.

I'd just get a 2008, but I can't find what I want and what I do find is all Job 1.

I have an 09 F-350 Lariat on order. It going to be a job 1 with an assigned date of Sept 15th. Delivery is estimated as end of October or beginning of November. I'll let you know.

You got your VIN already? Im just kind of suprised you have as much info as you do since Ford was not supposed to start scheduling the 09's until this Thursday (08/14).

Your '09 probably will not build on the 15th since that is the last scheduled day of '08 production. '09 production is scheduled to start on the 16th, so yours is probably scheduled to build "week of" the 15th...

No VIN as of yet. The order window has been open since July for the 09s. You are right, it will be scheduled a build date mid August. Since special orders are usually allocated before the mass run, and the estimated Job 1 build date is around the 15th of September, I figure mine will be in there somewhere. They estimate 3 to 4 weeks for delivery after the build. So that puts delivery sometime October or November.

I ordered it and recieved the ordering information from the dealer. (The same dealer I ordered my 2000 7.3 liter F-350 from in 1999.)

As for price, without going into too much detail; The truck spec'd out at $54,600 spec'd exactly the way I wanted it. I love that!


I am getting it at just about $46,000 plus any factory incentives that might be on during the time of delivery.

I know, it's a little more than I could get a 2008 for. But keep my trucks for about 10 years and 250,000 miles, so I want it to have everything I want, and nothing I don't... and a new 2009 color! Plus, I've had great luck with second year runs.

I think that answers all the questions. I'll let you know what I find out next.

It's now Mid-September. Has anyone heard any reliable info about when the '09 Super Duty will be in showrooms?? J.T. any updates on when yours will arrive?

 

J.T. along with a few others are expecting delivery of their 09's the first or second week of October, depending on delivery location. Dealers close to KTP should start seeing trucks anyday now. Everything is on schedule and looking good...
