2009 Superduty?

Colors are missing in '09
I thought about an '09, but apparently Ford won't paint a Lariat in bright red in 2009. I've seen that in previous years. I was able to find a nice red '08, though, and bought it.
For a brief period I had two bright red superduties and a bright red convertible in my driveway - and loved it!

So, J.T., sounds like yours is in the pipeline. Cool. How were you able to select/spec all the '09 options, etc? I'm anxious to replace my '93 350 with an '09 but haven't been able to find any reliable data and details on all what's available. Should I be looking somewhere besides Ford's site?? And BigRed, how'd you learn Ford won't do new Lariats in red? Pisser, because that's what I was thinking of too!

Dealers have had all the information you want for quite some time now. Ford's site is terribly slow at updating.

They are building red Lariats, just not the plain bright red. My 09 F550 Lariat will be Royal red. LS

Red, not kinda red
The new Lariats will be some sort of dark red - I have not seen the color, but the best I could gather is that it is kind of a maroon, like the Torreador red (I might have come close on that spelling
