I checked mine today and getting back with the report.
Yes it was chafing, making a little dent, rubbing against the shock mount.
Just peek into the LF wheel well and there it is.
Need to get some sort of shielding for that area.

I picked up some 3/4 plastic conduit and slipped that over the hoses and taped the end on. Hopefully this will take care of the pending problem. thanks guys for the good feedback. jeff

When I first got my truck (used) I checked it over, tied up loose wiring & lines, and put some plastic loom over chafing and potential problem areas. I also like to do this with new vehicles. Parts do fail, but I don't like to hurry them along by not doing some kind of preventive maintenance.
