Mark gave you the link for the CCV mod. For the leaky boots, take them off and give them a good cleaning then install them and tighten them just enough to stop any leak. Don't forget the ones under the spider, they are orange.

The first post at the top of this forum will address most of questions you can come up with. Several site sponsors at the top sells the boots, although one leaking oil is more likely loose and needs to be removed, cleaned and reinstalled, tightly. Check all of them for fit and tightness. Leaking boots will shrink most diesel *****.

Found on this site. Forget who posted.
This is how i made mine. Used hand grinder to ruff up edge were it gets tightened down.
4" 45`elbow. and Cap
It slipped out once and almost shot me in the face. Loud POP. Had folks come running to see if i was ok. Tool was at the other end of the garage. Still attached to the air compressor hose.
say, 4.00"bore x.4.00"bore = 16 , 16 x .7854 = 12.57, 12.57 x 20psi = 251lbs +- of force trying to push that tool off and knock you teeth out. Use caution.

I think I have heard that silicone is not rated for oil and fuel.

Still a good price and I think the stock boots are silicone anyway. Mine has lasted for 150k if they are silicone. The ones from dieselsite are the best, but don't include the CAC boots which are another $129.
