I want to replace my overhead display with the expedtion overhead trip computer because is does MPG, range gallons in tank, etc Has anyone done this yet and does anyone have one they would like to sell to me. Thanks Mike

 

Quite honestly, it will be impossible to get it to work. The TripComputer has it's own module, that is programmed in to the drivers door module. Unfortunatly just will not work together. Wish I could help you, but I can't. (Ford Mechanic)

It looks like this module does not handle the outside temp from the ambient temp sensor in the front grille of the truck. it looks like it is moved into the electronic climate control module. right now my over head module has compass and temperature on I may want to run both modules in tandem until I install electronic climate control


as far as being wired to the rap module I don't see that in the daigs. the rap has ckts, 267,7,1013,120,956,1090,875,66,268,1,119 on connector 257

and ckts 164,70,78,79,122,123,999,140,124,121,1090,1002,810 on connector 256 Please explian????

 

I have the factory manuals on CD-ROM, so I'd be glad to pull the diagrams & look for myself. Please tell us what year your truck is & what year the donor Expedition OHC is coming from.
