headers for a 96'

what kind of headers would fit my 1996 f-150 with the 302

Well there is many different brands start lookin around google it up ask your exhaust shops stuff like that check out the different brand of header sites

I am using Hedman shortys bolted strait up no probs.

Just dont use the "Paper Gaskets"

If your stock y pipe and cats are fine then the shortys will be the best thing to get, but you will have to get a o2 Bung and weild it on for the passenger o2 sensor.

If you want Long tubes then you will have to get some costom exaust done.

ive been wanting to put some on to make my exhaust a little louder. Those 2 cats really quiten it down some. but thanks for the info.

The headers are not going to make it much louder. Its that stock Ypipe thats choking the sound [AND power!]

BTW Summit has shorty headers made for the 96's. I have a set on my 95.
