starting problem
i am new to psd,having a new issue wondering if it is normal ,big problem or small problem. when it gets over 80 degrees my truck does not want to start . i have 2000 7.3 auto dp tuner 4inch ex and 6637. turns over normal does not seem to be getting fuel. turn the key off and back on starts right away. don't know if if means anything but at work it seems to be worse and i have to park on a downhill slope,but it does happen also on flat ground . thanx for your help

Sounds like your HPOP (high pressure oil pump) has a leaking check valve.

Next time it sits for a few hours pull the allen plug on the top right of the HPOP and see how close to the top the oil level is. It should be 3/4 of inch from the top, no lower than that. If it's not fill it up before you try starting it, if it starts right up, we've found your problem and we can go from there.
