1960 parts needed

i'm looking for a shortbed for my 60 f-100. stepside or flare would consider both. i'am in missouri

Well you might just wish to get the terminology Correct 1st, as Stepside (a gm trademark) & Flareside (a FoMoCo trademark) are one in the same, as they Both have Flared Fenders on the Bed/Box.

I believe you mean to use FoMoCo's terminology of STYLESIDE & FLARESIDE & I'm quite sure someone close by to you on this site will be on shortly to help you out.

Too bad your not in San Diego I know one around the corner from me. Mostly there parts truck 60 styleside body, frame, and suspension. Bring a trailer.

Flaresides seem to be less common, but they were built a lot longer, so the odds of finding one may be better. Try want ads (craigslist, kijijijijiji, free ad papers), and phoning every wrecking yard in the yellow pages within 100 miles. When they say no, ask if they can suggest anyone else. Drive or bicycle down back alleys and side roads and watch out for beds that have been made into utility trailers and complete old trucks.
